Sita’s Ascent (Penguin: 2013) was nominated for the Commonwealth Book Award. Startling and nuanced analysis of the complex relationships from the epic Ramayana (Girish Karnad). It humanises the divine. For a wider readership it was  ‘captivating and enthralling…extends Storytelling’ (Jim Crace). This was premiered at Jaipur Literature Festival https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzaNRAl-PSc and at the Literature Festivals of LSE, and Cheltenham.
