Vayu Naidu's publications
The Sari of Surya Vilas (Speaking Tiger: 2017) is about silenced histories - woven, told and sung. It is experienced through a family's secrets, set in colonial Madras and Norfolk.

Sita’s Ascent (Penguin: 2013) was nominated for the Commonwealth Book Award. Startling and nuanced analysis of the complex relationships from the epic Ramayana (Girish Karnad). It humanises the divine. For a wider readership it was ‘captivating and enthralling…extends Storytelling’ (Jim Crace).
